Yoga

The word yoga come from sanskrit and means "union". The state of Unity Consciousness are referred to in many yogic texts and teachings. This is an inner state of being.

The yoga tradition provides us with various tools, guidelines and practices.
These practices work on physical, mental and deeper layers of ourselves. They may be part of a deeper exploration, or/and a path for health and experience of wholeness.

SUMMER YOGA JUNE - SEPTEMBER 2024

We will share a summer yoga program for the summer season June - September 2024.
In addition to weekly private classes, we have set dates for yoga classes during the summer season.

YOGACLASSES

Classes this summer season are announced at our instagramaccount; blue_mountain_yoga as well as at our facebookpage Blue Mountain Yoga.

These classes are suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners.

We focus on
gentle breath movement
various yoga poses
breathing practices
yoga nidra and relaxation practices
sound bath and gong meditation with crystal instruments and gongs
or music, guided meditation
inspirational small talks at times

After the class it is possible to enjoy the sauna and ice bath in the cooling glacier water.

Warm welcome to Summer Yoga, Sound & gong bath, Sauna & Icebath!

Classes are held by Johanne & Frank.

Johanne has more than 25 years experience with yoga and relating practices and studies. She has been teaching yoga for almost more than 15 years, and have in addition started up this course - center Blue Mountain together with her husband Frank.
We have shared and hosted retreats since 2015, and yoga classes here since the summer 2010. Johanne started sharing the yoga in 2006.
After a break she started again in 2024 to share yoga and sound therapy classes.

Frank has practiced and studied yoga and various holistic practices since 2009. Together with yoga studies and education, he has experience in cranio sacral therapy as well as other modalities. Frank started to share yoga classes in 2013, and has since shared both longer ond shorter courses both alone and together with Johanne.

ABOUT YOGA

The different practical yoga tools consist of a variety of ethical principles and studies:

physical positions - asanas,

breathing techniques - pranayama,

methods for deep relaxation, consentration leading to meditation - pratyahara, dharana and dhyana,

as well as self enquiery and philosophy.
